COVID-19 update: please visit our home page for updates on our services during the coronavirus pandemic
All children’s library activities are currently suspended while Covid-19 restrictions are in place.
Although library buildings are closed, you can still take part and have lots of fun for World Book Day this year on the 4th March.
Check out the exciting live digital events happening between 3rd and 5th March with fabulous authors and illustrators including the amazing Rob Biddulph and Lydia Monks.
Discover free audiobooks to listen to, keep entertained with amazing activity sheets for all ages, take part in a brilliant competition with prizes, there is so much to do!
And as we can't celebrate in the libraries with you all this year, why not share pictures of you
celebrating World Book Day with us @ERCL4 or on our Facebook pages.
World Book Day
We offer free coding opportunities in the library for young people aged 7-13 throughout the school year. Learn how to program simple games and animations using the block-based programming language Scratch. All coders start with the Scratch Basics course and build up their programming skills as they move through the different projects in their club. For more details visit the Coding Clubs page.
