COVID-19 update: please visit our home page for updates on our services during the coronavirus pandemic
You may have noticed if you have visited the library recently, that there has been a new area created which will offer free cancer information and support to people within East Renfrewshire. The joint partnership between Macmillan Cancer Support and East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure Trust will see these areas being built in libraries and community settings, and Clarkston library is the first to be opened in East Renfrewshire.
Within the area there are FREE booklets offering information specifically to those living with a diagnosis, those in a caring capacity or for people who know someone affected by cancer or may have fears themselves and want some more information.
Every Friday from 10.30am-2.30pm, our fully trained team of volunteers will be in the area to offer guidance and support and can signpost or refer users to partner organisations, who may be able to help you with a specific need.
Please feel free to pop in and visit the space anytime or see our volunteers for a cuppa and a chat on a Friday.
