CORONAVIRUS: In line with Government advice on reducing social contact, all East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure services and venues are now closed until further notice. Please check social media for updates www.ercultureandleisure.org/COVID19
Macmillan are bringing their mobile service to East Renfrewshire this week with their big green bus Beryl, coming to Barrhead Tesco on Wednesday, November 13 from 9am - 3pm.
The bus will also be onsite at Silverburn Shopping Centre on Thursday and Friday at the same times.
Everyone is welcome to use the service. Whether you have a cancer diagnosis, have a friend or relative affected by cancer, or are worried about cancer in any way at all, there are lots of ways that Macmillan can support you - medically, financially, emotionally and practically.
A dedicated mobile team of highly-qualified Macmillan professionals travel across the UK on a fleet of six big green Macmillan buses. The buses park up at lots of public places, and the team of experts are there to talk to you in confidence, for as long as you need, to open up all the Macmillan services on offer. Or, you can pick up leaflets to take away with you.
If you can't make it along this week, you can come along to one of Macmillan East Ren's services and access the support on offer from our team of trained volunteers.
We have volunteers at Barrhead Foundry every Wednesday from 10.30am - 12.30pm or every Friday at Clarkston library from 10.30am-2.30pm. They will be on hand to offer guidance and support and can signpost or refer you to our physical activity program, Move More, or to partner organisations who may be able to help you with a specific need.
Please feel free to pop in and visit the space anytime or see our volunteers for a cuppa and a chat!
