Working in partnership strengthens the contribution heritage can make to the local community
The heritage service has built up a strong network of partners with other parts of East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure, East Renfrewshire Council and local groups and organisations and is happy to offer advice, support and access to resources wherever possible.
Examples of previous collaborations include delivering tailored talks and workshops for local groups, advising on Heritage Lottery Fund applications, assisting local projects with research and resources and running joint events.
If you are interested in working with the Heritage Service phone 0141 577 3872 or send an e-mail.
Schools can arrange class visits to our libraries where young people can access materials that they won't find online or in the classroom. There are pre-prepared sessions available to assist with local area studies but we are happy to discuss how we can help with any other topic or project. Availability for school visits is limited so we recommend booking as far in advance as possible. If you are interested in booking a school visit phone 0141 577 3872 or send an e-mail.
