Coding Clubs

Code Club 2019

We offer free coding opportunities in the library for young people aged 7-13 throughout the school year. Learn how to program simple games and animations using the block-based programming language Scratch. All coders start with the Scratch Basics course and build up their programming skills as they move through the different projects in their club.

We currently run Code Club at following libraries:

Barrhead LibrarySaturday 11.30am to 12.30pm
Clarkston LibraryWednesday 3.45pm to 4.45pm
Eaglesham LibrarySaturday 10am to 11am
Giffnock LibraryThursday 4pm to 5pm
Mearns LibraryFriday 3.30pm to 4.30pm
Thornliebank LibrarySaturday 10.30am to 11.30am

Demand is very high for places so we run a waiting list system. If your child is interested in attending a Code Club at East Renfrewshire Libraries complete the form below and we will contact you as soon as a space becomes available.

At the moment we only offer the Scratch Basics course, so if you have already attended please do not register again - we will contact you when more advanced courses are available.

If you are using a mobile device tap here to access the full version of the registration form.
