COVID-19 UPDATE - 4 JANUARY 2021
Following the Scottish Government's Guidance on new stay at home regulations from 5 January 2021, our venues and services will be closed until further notice.

Following the Scottish Government's announcement that East Renfrewshire is moving into COVID-19 Level 3, we are reopening some of our services.
The following services will restart on Saturday 12 December:
Please remember pre-booking is essential for all activities. Hygiene and social distancing guidance must be followed. Bookings can be made using our ER Leisure app.

Remaining closed / suspended
All memberships and monthly direct debits will remain frozen. You do not need to take any action to freeze your direct debit payments.
Swimming lesson payments will remain frozen and any lessons paid for and not received will be carried forward and used when we reopen in the New Year.
Customers with monthly or annual swim passes will have their passes extended to cover any closures.
Christmas and New Year closure
All our services and venues will be closed from Monday 21 December to Monday 4 January inclusive.
Following the Scottish Government's announcement that East Renfrewshire is moving into COVID-19 Level 4, all of East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisureservices and venues will close to the public from 6pm on Friday 20 November.

COVID-19 Update - September 2020
Barrhead Foundry and Eastwood Park Leisure are the first of our leisure venues to reopen and our other leisure venues will follow, as part of our phased reopening plans.

Currently we will be opening leisure facilities to members only.
The safety and well-being of our customers and staff is our priority and social distancing and cleanliness measures will be in place across all of our venues and facilities.
Our staff have been working extremely hard in preparation for re-opening, including training focused on helping and supporting customers.
You'll notice some changes when you return, please take a look at our video to see the changes we've made.
We have invested in new cleaning equipment, significantly increased cleaning in our venues and will have hand sanitiser available for you to use. Clear social distancing measures will be in place at each venue, in-line with Government guidance.

We have been running free online fitness classes throughout lockdown and these popular classes will continue.

We continue to follow the Scottish Government's guidance and we will re-open our services in stages, in line with the government's phased approach.
Click and Collect library service - launches 15th July
From Wednesday 15th July, we are introducing a new Click and Collect library service and details of how to access this new service can be found here.
Unfortunately we are unable to give opening dates for our other services and facilities at this time. All our other services including our leisure centres, community halls, theatre and sports and arts classes remain temporarily closed. As soon as we have more information on when these services can re-open, we will update you.

In preparation for our re-opening, our staff are working hard to make sure we are ready to welcome you back.

We can assure you that the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff is our priority. We will put social distancing and cleanliness measures in place to keep all our customers and staff safe.

All membership fees, including direct debits, are frozen throughout the closure.
All customers who paid for classes or other services that could not be delivered have been contacted directly about their payments.
All theatre customers who had booked tickets for shows on or after 18 March have been contacted directly. We are rescheduling shows where possible and have offered customers the option of transferring tickets to the new date or a refund.
Our contact services are busy and we appreciate your patience.
Library Book loans
During the library closures, we have automatically renewed all library book loans. If we cannot renew your book loans, because the books have been reserved by someone else, we will waive any charges incurred during this period.
We ask that you kindly hold on to any library books and return to us when we reopen.
