School Holiday fun for kids!

Take a look at our range of Art & Drama Holiday Camps for kids happening across East Renfrewshire!

We've a programme filled with creative, imaginative, messy and fun activities to keep kids busy over the school holidays!

  • You can also book by calling 0141 577 4956 or visit Eastwood Park Theatre reception in person to secure your place. Advanced booking is required for all our holiday activities.
  • Please do not attend our camps unless your booking has been confirmed. Please ensure the class you are booking is age appropriate. 
  • Please ensure that all details are correct at the time of booking, including emergency contact details. 
  • On the first day of the camp, we will require you to confirm that the details we have are correct. Please allow extra time at drop-off to confirm these.
  • All materials are included in class costs but don't forget to bring a packed lunch!
  • Our art camps can get messy! Please do not wear clothes that are likely to be damaged by paints, pens or glue. For our drama camps, please make sure your wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in.
  • Please note we do not offer refunds on our classes and courses. Class content is subject to change.

Monday 6 - Thursday 9 April

Time Travellers (P1-7)

We're going on a journey through time! Join us for a week of fun, creative activities as you travel though time with our expert art and drama tutors. Each day will focus on a different period in history, with the week finishing on an imaginative journey into the future.

You will learn a range of skills through themed activities, including history, arts and crafts, animation, sculpture, dance, drama, comedy workshops and performance tips. Build confidence, creativity, imagination and problem solving skills, whilst working on individual and group activities. Each day we will showcase a mini-performance along with the artwork created. 

Our Time Travellers camps in spring and summer feature different adventures - come along to spring or summer or both!

Tuesday 14 - Friday 17 April

Play in a Week-Tech Team (11-14 years)

Does a future in theatre beckon? Do you love working behind the scenes to make the 'magic happen'? Then you won't want to miss the chance to come work with our technical team, learning the basics of lighting and sound for the stage! Each day you will practice new skills, working with young performers on staging their devised piece of theatre and leading up to a final showcase of all the skills you have acquired.

Play in a Week - Musical in a Week (P1-P7)

Develop your theatre and performance skills in a fun, exciting and relaxed way! We will use songs from West End shows to develop your vocal technique and gain confidence in playing a part, working on a piece of devised theatre each day that you create.  

The week culminates in the creation of a new play, interweaving your favourite songs from the musicals. No experience is necessary!

World of Art (Children starting P5-S1)

There's a whole world of art out there to explore!  This week long camp will use art from different countries to inspire your work in a range of themed activities. 

Using a range of materials, each day will be different as we go on a round-the-world journey of art. Learn about different artists and how they make art in other countries, creating 2D and 3D works of art to take home with you.

Superhero Training Academy (Children starting P2-P4)

Superheroes assemble! Explore your ideal superpowers in our week long training academy. Learn how to work as part of a superhero squad, as you make friends and unite against villains!

You will design and make your very own costume, mask and accessories. Complete a series of challenges throughout the week, including activities focusing on arts and crafts, cartoons and games. Successfully complete all of the challenges and at the end of the week you will graduate as a Superhero!
