School Pupils and the public will have the chance to visit the mobile art exhibition
The Travelling Gallery will be stopping off in East Renfrewshire 28 February - 2 March with the exhibition 'EAT SLEEP WORK REPEAT'.
The spring 2017 exhibition asks how "we can abstract ourselves from the commonplace workplace and what humour, joy and subtleties can be found in our routine, commute, labour, administration and leisure." Exhibiting artists include; KP Brehmer, Tessa Lynch, Jamie Green and Amalia Pica.
The Travelling Gallery is a custom-built, mobile, contemporary art space inside a big beautiful bus, which brings high quality contemporary art exhibitions and events to schools and communities throughout Scotland.
Through funding from ERCL, pupils from St Ninian's High School will visit the Travelling Gallery on Tuesday 28 February, where it will be parked at Eastwood Park Theatre and open to the public from 2-4pm.
The bus will then be parked at Neilston Primary school for the following two days, where pupils from Neilston, Uplawmoor and St Thomas' Primary Schools will visit the Travelling Gallery.
Entry to the Travelling Gallery is free to all.
