Family History for Beginners

This new half-day course, led by experienced genealogist Lorna Kinnaird, PGDip, ASGRA, FSA Scot, will give you the skills and knowledge you need to begin your family history research. In a relaxed group setting, you will learn about:
- The key depositories for Scottish research
- What documents can be accessed (and how to read them too)
- Building a family tree chart
- Reading old handwriting
No previous experience is needed.
Can be booked separately or alongside the House History for Beginners Course to create a full day experience
