Have you always wanted to research your family history but just don’t know where to start?
Join us for a full day beginner’s course, led by experienced genealogist Lorna Kinnaird, PGDip, ASGRA, FSA Scot, and gain all the skills and knowledge you need to get started.
In a relaxed group setting, Lorna will introduce you to the basic principles of family history giving you guidance on what information you need, where to find it and how to interpret it.
Participants are encouraged to bring with them any research they have already carried out and there will be an opportunity to discuss your individual research with Lorna during lunch.
No previous experience is needed.
