Formed in 2002 to give Scotland’s best young jazz musicians a grounding in the work of jazz masters from Ellington to Corea, Basie to Shorter and Miles to Metheny, the SNYJO has produced award-winning performers and internationally acclaimed musicians and the current edition continues to impress audiences with individual and collective prowess, giving performances that guarantee excitement, creativity and grooves to make you move.
