Customers have 3 options for getting library books now that we have reopened seven libraries for limited browsing.
1. Customers can browse and select their own books at their local library.
No appointment is necessary, however there are restrictions on the numbers of people allowed in at any one time so customers may be required to queue and wait. For details of library opening hours please visit: Your Local Library
2. Customers can search and reserve books online using the Online Catalogue
You will receive an email notification when your book is ready for collection. At this point, if any customer remains uncomfortable entering a library to collect a reserved item, please contact your local library and staff can assist.
3. Click and Collect will remain an option for any customers who remain uncomfortable entering a library and who wish staff to select on their behalf.
Details about Click and Collect are below and more information about this service is available on the FAQs page.
How does it work?
Please see the FAQs page that outlines useful information about Click & Collect. Please refer to the FAQs in the first instance before contacting the library as we are working with a reduced staff. If you have a question about Click and Collect that is not covered, please contact the library: Giffnock Library 0141 577 4976 / Mearns Library 0141 577 4979 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
