We are delighted to announce that from Monday 30th August in line with the lifting of social distancing restrictions we will be increasing opening hours at our libraries.

We will re-introduce Saturday morning openings at all libraries that are currently operating, along with a re-introduction of a number of evenings openings at Clarkston, Giffnock and Mearns.

Busby, Netherlee and Uplawmoor libraries remain in the timetable for a September re-opening.

Please see individual library pages for updated operating hours.

In line with ongoing guidance we ask that visitors to the libraries continue to:

  • Wear face masks unless medically exempt
  • Provide library staff with contact details for Test & Protect
  • Sanitise your hands on both entry and exit
  • Place your returned items in the boxes provided
  • Observe social distancing where possible
