Unleash Your Creativity with the Marvellous Makers Summer Reading Challenge!
The Summer Reading Challenge returns with an exciting new theme for 2024 – Marvellous Makers!
Developed by The Reading Agency in partnership with the charity Create, this year’s Challenge
celebrates children’s creativity and storytelling abilities.
From junk modelling to painting, dance and music, the Marvellous Makers Summer Reading
Challenge will provide plenty of opportunities for children to explore their imagination and unlock
their inner maker through the power of reading.
The annual Challenge is free to join at your local public library or online at
summerreadingchallenge.org.uk. Children can discover new stories, collect fun rewards, and take
part in free creative activities over the summer holidays.
With bespoke illustrations by celebrated artist Natelle Quek, the Marvellous Makers theme will
inspire children to get creative and tell their own stories in unique ways.
Don’t miss this chance to fire up your child’s mind! Find your nearest participating library in the
Library Zone and get ready to become a Marvellous Maker this summer.
