Bookbug and Early Learning - East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure Trust

Bookbug and Early Learning

Temporary changes to Bookbug in Eaglesham. Due to renovations being done in the hall from Mon 8th July to Fri 9th August, Bookbug sessions will not be able to take place there during this period. Instead we will hold the two sessions in Eaglesham library for 0 - 4 years on Tuesdays between 9.30am and 10am and Wednesdays between 9.30am and 10am.

Rise and Shine storytime

A brand new monthly activity for pre-school children has begun! 'Rise and Shine Storytime' brings stories to exciting life using senses and imagination and ends with a mini-maker activity for little ones to get creative. Each month we will explore a different theme. For 4-5 year-olds.

June Activity: Come along and make a sparkling and glittery handprint hermit crab with googly eyes! rise and shine

Wednesday 5 June, Giffnock Library, 9.30am-10am

Tuesday 25 June, Barrhead Foundry Library; 10.30am-11am

Tuesday 25 June, Clarkston Library, 2.15pm-2.45pm

Bookbug and storytimes

Spark your wee ones' imaginations and let Bookbug and storytimes bring books, reading and learning to life.

Every week there will be silly songs and stories for you and your little ones to enjoy together and, of course, bubbles aplenty! Come along and join in the fun at these interactive sessions for children and their carers. We hold tailored Bookbug Sessions for babies and for toddlers as well as open sessions for children aged 0 - 4 years. Due to the popularity of sessions and limitations of space we ask that no more than two adults accompany each child.
