Heritage Walk – Giffnock: Fire and Brimstone

This Heritage Walk starts at Giffnock Library
Join us for an exploration of Giffnock and its hidden underground history. Led by local historian Dr. Stuart Nisbet you will discover not only the better known story of Giffnock’s famous sandstone but also the forgotten tales of its other minerals.
The class is ‘stand-alone’ but will complement our Heritage walk, Giffnock: Fire and Brimstone and our Heritage walk, Giffnock: Mines and Mysteries, which are bookable separately.
