Little Splashers (for children under 3 years)
Little Splashers is an introduction to swimming and water confidence, classes are aimed at children aged 0 to 3 years. It allows babies and toddlers to experience and become familiar with the swimming pool in a fun and safe environment, whilst learning the basics of water movements through guided play. It provides children with skills that will enable them to learn faster when they enter the Learn to Swim scheme at age 3yrs, and helps parent/carers to understand teaching methods and encourage practice out with lessons.
It also helps the parent/carers to be comfortable and confident in the way of holding their younger babies in the water, therefore, these sessions have a ration of 1 parent/carer to 1 child. If a second child wishes to attend, then this would be 2 parents/carers to 2 children.
Teaching your baby how to be comfortable and enjoy the pool at a young age lays the foundation for growing confidence. Many life-enhancing water safety skills for babies come from being comfortable and enjoying their time in the pool.

How to Book

- When you log in, select ‘Make A Booking’ and then your chosen venue ‘i.e Barrhead Foundry’, you will see the sessions listed (i.e Little Splashers).
- Follow the on screen instructions to book.
If you do not have an account please click on the link above and follow these instructions:
- Select ‘Sign up Now’
- Complete your contact details and make sure you have selected ‘No, I am a new member’
- Then select ‘Pay As You Go’ when offered membership options
- Complete form and check over to confirm all details are correct
- Click on Pay and Finish
- Then click on the BOOK NOW button to make the booking
Alternatively, bookings can also be made via the ERCL App.
Cost: £6 per class
Please note, classes are one child to one parent/carer (one child per parent/carer). Pre-booking is advised.
